Simple question. I already sanded down the bumps on the corners, but that didn't help much. So I know that the locking mechanism is more complex than I thought. Can someone please (PLEASE!!!) tell me how to stop it from locking into place... please?
And also, would it help if I sanded the edges of the corners and the edges of the edges? So that it would lock up less. Thanks in advance. And please tell me that it is just a simple fix.:D

Why do everybody sand chinese megaminx?
My chinese megaminx is not sanded, and it turns well...
The only thing to do with a chinese megaminx is to solve it a lot of times...

Yeah, when I first got mine I wanted to smash it against the wall and then take a belt sander to it. But in the past few days (when I've started actually practicing it) its gotten loads better. You have to break it in like any other puzzle.

I just got a PB single of 2:09 and Laetitia, last I heard, was around 1 minute (correct me if I'm wrong). So, no, they don't.

Oh no, not this thread again :D
To make a chinaminx better, first lube it, it will already help a lot. Then play with it until it starts to look bright.
I 've got two chinaminxes: my main one and a new one I have only solved twice. The difference between them is obvious. And I have done nothing else to the first one than what I described above...

It's also possible to adjust the screws

true statement. i adjusted all my screws almost three full turns and lubed it all at once, and it went from a locking, cramping mess, to an almost finger-trick worthy minx
