they're very clicky and they lock up. you should just go to cube4you or ebay and order a old diy type a or a diansheng. those are way better and a lot cheaper.

are they the older Type D's or the newer ones with the crappy screws?

My friend bought one and I took it apart and it has the old screws. The only difference between my type D and his "slick cube" is my corner caps pop out more.

IMO, the Yuga's aren' that good. They're smooth, but lack corner cutting.

K, I actually got a slickcube to see if it's the fastest and smoothest cube. As said before, they're basically lubed type Ds. It's smooth as hell but won't cut corners if your life depended on it. But that may be because I have been pampered by type Fs, which can have a pretty high tolerance for corner cutting.
