Hi, I just joined and wanted some advice on the 5x5, 6x6 and 7x7 cubes.
On 5x5, I average 4-5 minutes.
On 6x6, I average 9-10 minutes.
On 7x7, I average 14-17 minutes.

I am not looking to break any world records, I'd just like my 7x7 time to be sub 10. I realise though, in order for this to happen, my other times must decrease too.
Any general tips? I try to practise each of them at least once a day, more on the weekends. My hardware is not an issue for me.

Additional information: I average 39-43 seconds on3x3, I assume this is sufficient for sub 10.
The weakest part of my bigger cube solving is my centres. On 7x7, it takes 7-8 minutes to complete them. I use freeslice for edges.

I thank you for your help in advance.

You try to practise once a day? That's your problem. Try spending an hour on 5x5 every day for the next two weeks. After that, try the others for an hour each and watch your times drop out of the sky.

Are you sure your hardware is ok? ShengShou 7x7 Linglong is probably the best for anyone. I base this on being a 192cm tall guy with matching hands and still thinking that the regular 7x7 is too big.

Anyway, that definitely will not stop you from sub 10. I personally got better at 4x4 first, then 5x5. I'd start with trying to achieve sub 3 with the 5x5. If and when you reach that goal you should be able to pull of a sub 10 with a 7x7. Solving the 5x5 is also much more comfortable, the 7x7 just kills your fingers after a while.

I can't cube for 3 hours a day!

The same question applies; how to get sub3!
My centres on 5x5 take around 1:15 to complete!

Just keep practicing. You should do both full-speed solves (to get used to turning fast and finding pieces quickly) and slow solves (to get used to building centers and edges efficiently, without wasting moves). I would practice one cube at a time, and keep in mind that one solve a day will not help you at all. You really want to be doing many solves of the same puzzle in a row. Put more of a priority on 5x5x5, since the time-saving tricks you find for smaller puzzles tend to apply to larger puzzles, but not the other way around.

Additionally, while it is possible to get under 10 minutes on 7x7x7 with your 3x3x3 times, the 3x3x3 times are still going to hold you back a bit. You should occasionally practice that as well, even if you're only interested in big cubes.

Practice is all. Devote yourself to solve 3x3 daily, as well as 5x5. Even if its just 15 minutes with each cube, make this a daily routine. Watch tutorials on youtube of 5x5 centers, maybe edge pairing aswell. Then minimize your moves, on 3x3 you should average 60-70 moves per solve. If you're doing more, you're doing unnecessary moves which will slow your times down.
