Hey, cubers.
I'm pretty new to cubing and have been cubing for around a month. I can currently only solve the 2x2 and the 3x3.
For the 2x2, I average 13 to 20 seconds using LBL.
For the 3x3, I average 1:50 to 2:05 seconds also using LBL.

If you are ready to move to an advanced method, check out this guide to method-choosing:

I read the CFOP section of that thread and the "Quotes from the best" seemed to be very selected quotes from a CFOP user saying why Roux is better than CFOP. I think this thread is biased and is not the best resource for beginners
Just keep it out of member intros. Also, the community as a whole is biased towards CFOP (just look up CFOP tutorials), So it balances out.

enough with you and CFOP. If Antoine says roux is better face it : it might be. Now please stop interfering.

just know, if you read that thread, that there is a game-changing reason to use CFOP which the biased author of that thread chose to leave out, which is that CFOP is pretty much the only good method if you're interested in bigger cubes, as other methods are far inferior to CFOP for the 3x3 stage on bigger cubes
