Hey, I'm Leo, and I'm a 12 Year old from western Oregon.
There was a cubing fad that started at my school about 1-2 months ago.
after awhile I started to get bored with the layer by layer method, as I was pretty much reaching the peak times you can get whit lbl (about a average of 44s with a pb of 29.46s) So I decided to do some research on faster methods. After looking through it all, I decided on CFOP, because I personally enjoy learning algorithms. So far I've learned two look OLL (which doesn't improve you times that much) plus a few other oll algs. Ive learned 4 PLL's, and I'm starting to get a basic grasp of F2L, but it made me about 20 seconds worse. Now I've decided to join this forum because I'm at the point where I know that I'm going to stick with cubing for a long while, and I'm not just joining in on a short lived fad. I'm exited to converse with you all and share my progress.

:)

Welcome! When you say that you have learned 4 PLL's, do you mean that you are learning 2 look, or just going straight to full? I would definitely recommend learning 2 look PLL first. My times got worse as well when i learned F2L, much worse. That is natural so don't get too discouraged. See you around!

Hello Leo! Welcome! I'm from Portland, and I went to school at UO in Eugene. Now I'm living in Korea though, so I'm pretty far away :p Just keep practicing. If you got to 44s with LBL, you will get to Sub-30 pretty quick with F2L.

I was going straight too full, but do you think I should scrap that for now and go too two look?
