Hi everyone, I'm a (speed)cuber from Northen Italy. I'm 16 and I fisrt solved a rubik's cube I guess 5 or 6 years ago, but I started speedsolving it just 1 or 2 years ago; I know full fridrich (all OLLs and PLLs, but intuitive F2L) and I'm trying to learn some of ZB algs*; I can say I'm sub20 now, but slowly improving :tu
I solve 2x2, 3x3 (even OH, and once i tried with feet :) ), 4x4 and 5x5... Now I use a FII, but I'm gonna assemble my new Guhong tomorrow.
2-3 weeks ago I also started blindsolving, and I'm proud of my results (PB 3:11.xx, average about high 3 or low 4)
I hope I'll enjoy the forum :D

*I've already read a lot of posts saying "don't learn ZB, too many cases", "it's to difficult to learn all those algs" or "fridrich it's better, you recognize the case easier", so don't try to make change my mind, I'll go on learning algs till I want (or I can).

Woah. Nice BLD time for just starting. My times were nowhere near that when I started.

And hi. :D

Same here. I am about 2 weeks into blindsolving and averaging 10 min. I just suck at memorizing edges. Also welcome to the forum and good luck!

Wow, I average above 5 with all blindsolves, and my only official time is 8:09.33, very nice BLD times! What bld method are you using? By the way, go on and learn ZBLL, it would definitely help you in the long run :P Just a suggestion though, start out with COLL :P

I use old pochman with PA memo (person-action) for bld; actually I learnt the method this summer, but I've never tried solving the whole cube blindfolded (only the corners few times, but I succeded just once or twice); about one month ago I re-started, but the first week I got only DNF :(
[..]Just a suggestion though, start out with COLL :P
Yes, I thought the same when I started :)
