Hi everyone! :)I am NightKitty, and I started cubing! :) I waited whole year to say that. Soo, apparently I am a new cuber who don't know's how to solve a rubix cube! Yea, I am that good! I am just learning, and learning! It's January 21. 2025, while I type this, and I wan't to start solving twisty puzzles, in... February! Why? Because I wan't! Ya know? Life things, bcz I am 10 yes old... I don't have any speedcubes, but, I am looking buying magnetic one from GAN, for 33€. I am learning Begginers Method, but, then, when I will learn it and be fast, I wan't to learn CFOP. I don't know, and I am from Latvia! My goal is to be sub - 10, and do twisty puzzles very quickly. So, hi everyone!

Welcome! There are some very good tutorials out there to learn from, such as from Cubehead and Jperm!
(Guys don't roast me by suggesting cubehead despite me roasting his cubing academy I just like his actual content and tutorials they are fun aaah).
Ignore that tangent and just have a good time here!

What tutorials are you using? I recommend JPerm’s cube tutorial. Welcome to the forums!
Jperm's tutorial is a little bit hard, and I'm already looking ahead into other tutorial, but they all are a liiitle... Like Cubeorithms tutorial has Daisy in it, I think... But, I most likely will be learning from Jperm.

Welcome!
Thanks! I will absolutely look in it! 👍🏻 Only, on sidenote, is that I really like Magnetic speedcubes, but thanks for suggesting!
The RS3M v5 Ballcore has the same magnets as the GAN (to the best of my knowledge), plus 16 extra magnets inside o the Ballcore to make the cube more stable

I learned how to solve the cube from CubeHead's tutorial, he has like 3 of them, but they all are good , so maybe give it a go

Oh, thanks! Sidenote too: Did your father liked it in Riga? It's pretty "Old" city!
He loved his experience there. He was very well treated since he was playing the Interzonal Chess Tournament . Everything went great, except for his results. He did draw against Tal, but apart from that it wasn't the tournament of his life

welcome to the forums I recommend the rs3m super Maglev if you want a good priced cube or the rs3m v5

I personally would recommend the WRM v10. It's a magnetic speedcube that has corner to core magnets as well as magnets in the tracks of the edges that repel the core magnets. Compared to the RS3M v5 ballcore I find the v10 suits me better than the v5.
Honestly, all this hardware can be a bit confusing so if you want a decent cube that's easy to learn on and doesn't have a bajillion combos of tensions, spring settings as well as magnet settings just get a standard rs3m with no spring compression system. Its like 8-9 dollars and easily one of the best feeling cubes you can purchase.
Lubricants are also important, so if you go onto www.thecubicle.com, you can purchase lubes such as fz calm and rush that will make the cube smoother and faster.
I also recommend getting like a 2x2 if you want to learn a simpler version of a 3x3 cube. The Moyu Weipo wrs is a good choice, or the rs2m evo.
