I had played with Rubik's cube a few years back. Based on internet tutorials (Lars Petrus' system) , I was able to solve the cube but never really made it speed cubing.
Of late I have started Android development and planning to release an app on Rubik's cube. With the numerous apps out there, I have joined the forum to understand the key features required, difficulty levels of initial configurations and the shortest possible steps to solve the cube from a given initial configuration.
Also, I recently released a 15 Puzzle android app which some of you might be interested in.
