been lurking for a little while reading at some of the threads and thought id join.ive been into cubes since they were first released back in 1980..my fisrt puzzls were the 3x3,the snake and the pyraminx folowed shortly by the tower of babylon.i got back into puzzles early last year when i finally managed to solve the frippin thing(3x3 that is).since then ive got a lot faster and better at solving puzzles ...my collection has grown some what as well.im currently trying to solve the gigaminx....got it 99 percent done without help with only 2 edges left to sort.am i the only one who hates how the gig turns or do any others have probs.my fav cube is the 7x7 black v cube which i like to solve in starbucks with a huge coffee....its getting very easy to pop now which is why i have a white 7x7 coming.i had stickered up the illusion with shiny cubesmith stickers(2 hours of joy right there,although the gigaminx took longer as i wont use the sheet they give as its to inaccurate and im fussy) but they turned out to be awful and fell off and looked old veeery quickly..(did look nice tho).
im not very quick at solving so wont embarress meself by posting my time for the 3x3 but i will say im getting much better at the 7x7.

ps i also like retro mountainbikes and currantly ride a muntaincycle san andreas with girvins and other pretty shiny things.
