Hi everyone, I'm from New Zealand, started speedcubing like 1-2 months ago, I can average around 40seconds with beginners method, and I'm starting to learn Fridrich's method. I'm not very good, so I hope to meet heaps of people and learn heaps of things to improve my time~ :)

Hey euninja, thanks for your private message and glad you are coming to Singapore ! I had already replied your message.

If you had come in Feb 2013, you could even go to the WCA Rubiks' competition - Singapore Open 2013 :)

But you can go to the NZ competition and meet lots of friends, and fellow cubers to exchange ideas, learn moves etc...

There are several methods to solve the cube, eg, Petrus, ZZ, Roux, CFOP (that you mentioned you using) methods etc.. and it really depends on which you are most comfortable with.

And also equally important is a good fast cube that turns well, cuts corners. Which Dayan you using ? There is the Tai Yan, Gu Hong, Ling Yun, Lun Hui and now
the Dayan 5 Zhanchi which was used by Feliks Zemdegs in his World Record 5.66 sec solve.

In my honest opinion, Dayan 5 Zhanchi 3x3 is THE best. You ought to consider that one..... Cheers !
