So I just read a few self introductions from our fellow cubers and it's only now that I realise how slow I actually am :(
I learnt to solve the cube six years ago when I was ten, but I didn't really get into speedcubing until two years ago, after realising that the beginner's method isn't the only method and that there are actually a lot more you can do with the cube. So I learnt CFOP, but I never really got the time to practise.
I finally got my first sub 30 about one and a half years after learning CFOP, and my first sub 20 a few months ago, after getting a Moyu Guanlong.
And I just got a new pb earlier today!! (less than an hour after I registered to this site ahaha)
My current pb is 13.81 and I have an average of about 24-25
I'm planning on getting a new 4x4 and 5x5 cus the ones I have now are pretty bad
My goals are to improve on the larger cubes and also on blindfolded solving :)

Welcome to the forums! :)

Your times aren't that slow really it's just that the people who post time tend to be he fastest ones.

Hope you enjoy your time here :)

Well, I guess I'm still a rather slow learner compared to many other cubers cus it took me a lot more time to reach this speed. Thanks btw :)

Welcome to the forums, good luck with Blindfolded [emoji14]

What's the fastest method for blindfolded solving? Or am I supposed to head somewhere else for an answer?
I'm still not too familiar with this forum yet :)

Nah it's okay for now.
If you have the patience to learn a few algs (about 10 i think), learn M2 for edged and Old Pochmann for corners, if you decide to do that I would recommend Noah Arthurs(NoahCubes)' tutorial on youtube. Otherwise you can use OP for both edges and corners(which only requires 4 algorithms to be decently fast), you can learn that directly from Stefan Pochmann's website.
Hope this helped ^^

I used to use another method which I don't know the name of, but I watched the tutorial by Noah cubes a few weeks ago and it is the method I currently use. I just checked out Stefan Pochmann's webpage and seems like it's quite useful. Thanks for the advice! :)
