Greetings! I'm from Earth... A teeny tiny planet in the Goldilocks Zone around a G2V type star we profoundly call as the Sun.
I'm a member of a faction of our civilization which is interested in solving puzzles by constrained mathematical functions which are based on the spatial movement of matter around fixed axes dependent on various probabilities.
Please guide me in my journey to unsolve the mysteries of this ancient knowledge which predates the universe itself [emoji292] .

Alright alright...
I'm from India
I'm a beginner in 3x3 cube.. And I know beginners method. I have been learning CFOP since last week.. [emoji56] ( I then plan to learn roux AFTER learning cfop..I guess CFOP will take 6 months or so?)

I'm learning f2l from video by thesergsB on youtube..is that enough ? Would you suggest me some more sources to learn from?[emoji5]

Edit 1 : lasting -> learning

( I then plan to learn roux AFTER learning cfop..I guess CFOP will take 6 months or so?)
Why learn Roux after? It means that you will have to get out of some CFOP habits that are detrimental to good roux solving such as F2L pairs and such. You could always learn them simultaneously (and no it will not be too hard- I learned 4 at the same time and I still progressed at a reasonable speed)

Hi @DevX and welcome to the forums! Your into was unexpectedly comical.
I hope you can find relevant and useful information as well as contributing your own ideas to the discussions.

Regarding learning CFOP/Roux, the "learning" part of CFOP is just last layer algorithms, as soon as you can get used to F2L. I learned from thesergsB too, his content is well thought out and easily understandable.
This site is great for learning basically any algorithms. I would recommend learning full PLL first if you intend to continue with all out CFOP. And even if not, it is a pretty useful alg set.

In regards to learning Roux after CFOP, I think you should learn both of them at the same time. If you feel up to it, I would also recommend looking into the ZZ method.

So you are saying that.. If I learn one method.. My mind will be molded to think in only one direction... Yeah I guess.... I'll give it a shot [emoji106]

So I'll search for content on roux then start studying [emoji6]

Practice && practice !

Cheers!

Yep [emoji1]
Thanks for telling about Algdb [emoji119]

After the advice you and shadowslice e I think that I'll learn roux along with cfop.
I will have to learn all the oll and pll algorithms..and I think thats gonna take a lotta time.
Thanks a lot [emoji106] [emoji3] [emoji5] [emoji322]

Cheers!
