Hi Everyone - New cuber here

heh, yeah, realized my contradiction right after I posted, but did let it be for no reason xD, although my averages has gone under my white cross avg, i still have that problems i said, so i got the times down, but sometimes my brain just screws with me and want to make a f2l pair for white, when cross is blue for example, it happens less frequently though, and about a month has passed, so now when I think about it I follow the same pattern xD, when CN is done, Im learning a new method for a change, probably roux for 3x3 or K4/cage for 4x4, always fun to mess around with new ways of solving :)

ZZ for 3x3 is pretty fun and the F2L is really awesome.

I do the same thing but not with white pairs always. I'll solve orange cross then blue cross then red cross then yellow and I'll jump to red after doing the yellow. Only happens once every 30-ish solves.

ok, time to check ZZ on the wiki then :P, about the same frequency for me on the pair errors, maybe a little more often for me, but not much xD

EDIT: Oh imma go ZZ!! :D, am a little used of block building f2l from beginner petrus, and the zero rotation sounds cool, and the algs, 20 - 537..... (lol wtf) Guessing its if you go intuitively or not, I go intuitive then xP

lol Starting your reply with "took less than a week for me to get CN" and ending it with "so i guess im not fully CN yet" is quite the contradiction. My averages in a few days were only a few seconds off my white cross times but those last few seconds are the tough ones. That, and like I said in my previous post, I didn't have a 3x3 for three weeks so it probably wouldn't have taken me too long otherwise. I think the break did me good though.

I can do yellow and white. Is that enough?

doing that, youre opposite neutral (or something, never remember that name), so you got another cross to choose from, when being fully CN (which I am, but not really(just to continue my contradiction :P)) you get pretty much the same times no matter what cross you start with, so practice CN if you feel like it, leave it be if you dont, its your call, IMO being CN (while not being it) is more entertaining than being white cross only, since you never know what cross you will make before inspection ;P

No it depends on which method you want to use for LL. It should all be on the wiki but regular OLL-PLL works fine.

ok, did just do a quick overwatch of steps and such, so just drew a wild guess (should have followed forum member rule #1: Lurking >.<), gonna try a solve with it now to try it out
