I've been lurking for a while and finally decided to make an account.

I'm Jordan Moore, a cuber from Maryland. I started cubing almost 8 months ago, and have been doing it fairly obsessively. I actively practice 2x2-7x7, OH, and megaminx, and occasionally I'll also do blind, pyraminx, and skewb. My favorite event is 4x4 (I'm not sure why, but I just enjoy the amount of time it takes). My averages for 2x2-7x7 are (approximately) 5.2/16.5/1:05/2:13/4:40/6:40 respectively, ~31 for OH, and my average on megaminx is around 2:45.

I'll be heading off to for my freshman year of college in a couple weeks, so I don't expect to be getting in very much practice after I leave. My biggest hobby other than cubing is music. I love playing instruments, and as of now, I play 18 (I think). I also compose and arrange music fairly often. I have a YouTube Channel under the name Jordan Moore on which I post multitrack videos of my arrangements of variety of music (video game, classical, etc). In college I'll be majoring in Euphonium Performance/Music Ed. As some of you may have inferred from my username and account picture, I play ocarina as well (kudos to you if you have heard of it or played the Zelda game :tu )

My questions for you are:
1) Are any of you musicians?
2) If so, what do/did you play?
3) Do you have any tips for an incoming college freshman?

i am a seasoned musical veteran with years of experience playing the skin flute :) . just replying to say that i love your name and the legend of zelda is the best gaming series in the history of video games. that is all.

EDIT: i am very impressed with your times. particularly your 4x4x4 times. you are faster than me in every event but 222 333 and OH and i am no newcomer to cubing. we are almost tied when it comes to 4 and 5 though. perhaps we should race sometime?

Welcome to the forum! :D
I play piano quite well, and bass clarinet at school.
