Heyo! I'm TetCuber and i'm new to cubing. The 'tet' in my name is because i like to play tetris. I'm really hoping to improve and find new things on this forum. I'm trying to learn CFOP currently so if you have any advice i would like it. ok now bye see ya

Welcome to SS How much of CFOP have you learned?

I've learned how to do the cross on the bottom, most of f2l, and a few oll and pll algs. I'm mainly working on f2l right now.

I'm going to have to chime in and say something dark and sinister like "Join the Dark Side. Learn Roux." but that would probably not be very convincing. I do recommend exploring other methods though, some of them might be much more fun for you than CFOP!

Welcome! I completely agree with what @AbsoRuud said. Don't just fix on CFOP. I'd say learn Petrus, as it gives you skills that are applicable to lots of methods, then learn CFOP (although it looks like you already have a good grasp of that!), Roux and ZZ (and any other methods you can really) until you find one that you enjoy the most! I hope you enjoy your speedcubing journey and your time here in the forums.

@greentgoatgal not yet. i tried it before and the case i got didn't match any of the ones in the tutorial.
@PapaSmurf i've been checking out other methods and some of them seemed great. i'll see if petrus works well for me

i didn't get a pic of it when i had it and now i can't seem to get it again, it was the p shape but it was at an angle so that you couldn't turn it to match the tutorial. also i used this website: http://www.rubiksplace.com/speedcubing/guide/#2-look-OLL
EDIT: i figured out what i did wrong nvm i still had to use the p orientation algorithm at a different angle

Tetris friends (an online tetris game) is really fun and i play tetris on there often. there's lots of gamemodes and multiplayer stuff.
