Hey, I got into cubing about 3 months ago where I learned to solve on a 1980's Rubik's brand. The cube was falling to pieces so I bought a new cube; the Fangshi Shaungren V2 which is incredible in comparison. At this point I was using intuitive cross and F2L with the beginners method for the last layer. I was averaging about 1 minute when I decided to learn 2 look oll and pll in a day! So I been using 2 look CFOP for about a month now and my usual ao5 is about 30 - 33 seconds. I'm now going to learn all the pll's, then all the oll's, then all the coll's, then all the winter variations! I also casually solve 2x2, 4x4 and 5x5. I also got a gear cube because I thought it was awesome and the void cube (still need to learn the parity algorithm for the void cube). This is how far I am into my cubing career. Any thoughts?

Another London cuber!

The next step is usually to find your flow during your F2L a bit more, but it wouldn't hurt to learn full PLL first and see how much that helps.

Welcome!

Yay more UK cubers. Good choice learning PLL before OLL. You probably won't need COLL or WV unless you use ZZ though. And while I'm talking about ZZ, you may want to look into some other methods. Use whichever one you want. CFOP is good, so you don't have to switch method, but it's just a suggestion.
Welcome!

Welcome to the community! I think learning full PLL is a good idea at this speed. Maybe you can work on advanced F2L and faster techniques once you've gotten full PLL down. Just my suggestions ;)

I'm gonna recommend two things:
1) Don't bother with COLL or WV unless you feel like you really need it to improve. I average ~11 seconds with just OLL/PLL, and I don't even turn fast. Lookahead (especially during F2L) and consistency is way more important.
2) Here is a nice void cube parity: (M' U')2 (M' U)2 M' U2 (M' U)2. As you can see it's just an M' and then some U move over and over. Very easy to remember and fast too.

Have fun cubing :)
