Hi! I'm a musician (I play around 12 instruments) who also plays video games and likes to solve cubes! I can solve 2x2, pyra, 3x3, and 4x4, but I only really "speedsolve" 3x3. I have a PB of 18.68 from forever ago, and my more recent PB is a 21.xx. I'm looking to get better at 3x3 (ao5s are usually around 35 seconds) and get to talk to lots of people in the community! Feel free to ask me any questions.

Welcome! That’s a crazy amount of instruments! I can play clarinet and tenor saxophone, but I guess that’s nothing compared to what you can do. What are the 12 that you play?
By the way, am I supposed to put the prefix on this thread, and if so how do I do that?
It doesn’t really matter if you put the prefix there, it’s just optional to draw a little more attention to the thread. A lot of people view every thread on the home page, anyway, so a lot of people will see this thread no matter if it’s there or not.

1. I love playing saxophone! Clarinet was a ***** to learn though. I can play every instrument found in a typical high school band except for oboe and bassoon, along with piano, guitar, bass, and drums. I sing, too, if you want to count that. In fairness, I'm not amazing at all of them - I learned them in preparation for my music education major that I'm starting this fall.
2. How do I add the prefix?
EDIT - I see the reply that says how.

Yeah, from what I’ve heard, clarinets are actually one of the harder woodwinds to learn. The way you form your mouth is different (much tighter), as well as the fact that instead of a octave key like saxes have, there’s a register key, so when you press the register key, it’ll be a completely different note than the one you were just playing.

Exactly. My primary instrument(s) are trombone and euphonium. Saxophone was braindead easy to learn (as my director says, it's the easiest to learn, hardest to master), flute was hard embouchure wise but the fingerings were basically identical. Clarinet was the one that sucked to learn. Sounds beautiful in the right hands though (aka not mine)!
