Help with lubricating a storebought rubiks brand 3x3

Heya!

I lubricated my rubiks cube using a silicone spray. At first, the gliding was pretty nice, but now, ( after two weeks ) The gliding has been reduced, and it doesn't turn well at all.

I'm from israel, and I cant get here any CRC brand silicone spray, or any american brand one. Maybe thats the problam?

Can the cube be damaged if i re-lubricate it with the silicone spray?

Clean it out and lube it again.

I would clean it out and lube it with Vasaline for a month or so. Then, clean it all out and respray it with the silicone spray.

Don't do this. It will be very hard to get all the Vaseline from your core without getting water inside, rusting the screws and rivets.
