Ok I really am getting close to breaking the 1 minute marker but i just cant! my best is 1:06 and i keep trying and trying but it seems useless.... i need also a new method because layer by layer takes too long and Fridrich (sp?) is too complicated.... AHH im so agrivated.... tips would be nice. thanks:)

Im also around this point in cubing, with a best of 56 seconds (pllc skip)

Im beginning to practice intuitive fridrich, which once you learn the 3 main cases is easy to do. I can't do it fast enough to use as my fastest method yet, but hopefully I will get better.

What method for the last layer do you use. If you are using the one taught by pogobat/dan brown on youtube, you may want to consider changing to the universal last layer method. Its much faster and only used 2-3 new algorithms.

It begins there and it continues onto a fully solved cube, that should spped up your times a little.

I have been cubing for 7 months with the beginner method, and I am averaging anout 40 seconds. Record is 27.60, a little unlucky is 50's, mental lock is a little above a minute. I am doing 3-5 mps.

If you are just aiming for 50 sec contantly and not sub 30, then I recommend watching badmephisto's videos on Youtube. They are very helpful. I as averaging 40 sec when I started watchinghis videos. Now I am averaging 22 sec.

3-5 mps, with an average of 40 seconds on beginner's method? That can't be right; beginner's method normally takes 80-100 moves.
