help!! oll

i know the normal cube notation, but what is w, y, x, z, and those odd ones in the oll and pll algorithms?!?!?

Well, x, y, and z are when you rotate the entire cube a certain way. The w's would be coming after normal letters and mean do that turn, but with 2 layers.

They are variables. You can fill them with whatever you want.
