Been using the cube as a stress reliever for years then several weeks ago I stumbled onto a video of a speed solve and was hooked. I joined here looking for a few tips as we as possible locations of actual stores where one can buy a good speed cube or some lube. I am in my early 40's and neeed to be hands on before I buy. Currently live in So Cal

You can really only get decent speedcubes through online stores. I would usually recommend thecubicle.us, but since you live in california, shipping from speedcubeshop won't take too long.
