i have been cubing for about 2-3 months and i am a sub 40 solver (sometimes a bit more if i screw up with f2L),my pb is 32 secs.I know about 14 oll algorithms and about 7 pll algorithms.Right now my main is a slightly modded dollar store cube (it turns surprisingly well) but i am soon gonna switch to a shengshou 3x3 v1.hope we can get along well

Hello, and welcome to the forum! Maybe you could get a MoYu or YJ cube instead of the ShengShou; they're generally better, but anything should help at this point. Dollar store cubes generally aren't all that good, haha. But anyway, have fun and enjoy the forum!

Wow, sub-40 in a few months with a dollar store cube, nice! Anyway, I concur with DG. If price matters a lot, I'd reccomend the YJ Guanlong, since it's dirt-cheap, yet performs really well. You might wanna clean out all the loose flash inside though, and possibly a few other adjustments too.

Welcome to the Forums and the community! I recommend the aolong v2 if price isnt a problem. If it is then follow tyler comfy hat's advice and get the guanlong. happy cubing!

yeah i was gonna get a yj cube but my dad already got the shengshou thinking it was good i might get a yulong with heavy lube once i get sub 30 but thanks anyway
