Hi everyone! I'm ultimatecube. I like playing Ultimate Frisbee, hence the "ultimate" in my username. Not trying to imply I'm the best cuber of all time! That title belongs to someone else. :) I solve the 2x2, 3x3, and Pyraminx. Currently learning the 4x4, but progress has been rather slow. Any useful tips will be gladly accepted! I learned an introductory Fridrich method for the 3x3 several years ago and set a PB of 46.96. I could never beat that record, so I stopped cubing for a while (I know, it's absolutely horrible). I picked back up again, taught myself a few tips and tricks and a handful of new algorithms, and busted my record. I'm currently at 22.61 on a Dayan Zhanchi.

Right now I'm putting together an unofficial (not WCA-approved) cubing contest in south GA scheduled for May 16. If you're in the area, let me know and I'll send you some more info. Thanks!

I'm your guy for most things. Mainly how specific cubes perform (I watch tons of reviews, and have tons of cubes). Glad you are learning he 4x4, its really fun :D If you have any questions about most anything I'm here to help. Except BLD. I'll leave that up to Berd, he's the guy you want to ask.

I used the tutorial by the Youtuber mathtornado. (It had some numbers behind it but I can't remember them) It was really easy to follow. I hope this helps!

Thanks! My 2x2 and 3x3 are Dayan Zhanchis, and my 4x4 and Pyraminx are Shengshous. I used a Rubik's Speed Cube before I got the better ones. I should have checked here before I did that. :p Any suggestions on lubrication?
