I'm Ben, a fairly new speedcuber from England.
I've been cubing for less than a year - I first became interested when my friend brought his cube to school although he couldn't solve it. I then bought a £2 cube from eBay which was not very smooth and eventually broke and now sits on my shelf along with my dad's old broken 3x3, a broken Rubik's Magic and a nearly broken Rubik's Magic Master (my friend nicknamed this "the Rubik's graveyard").
I now own a Dayan Zhanchi and my current best time is 43.0 seconds, average around a minute up to 1:20. The method I use is CFOP (2-look OLL and 2-look PLL). My cube collection includes:
Dayan Zhanchi
Mefferts 3x3 Pillow Twins
Ghosthand 2x2, 4x4 and 5x5
QJ Pyraminx
Megaminx (I don't know which brand this is)
And I soon hope to purchase a 6x6 (probably Shengshou) and a Square-1.
I am very interested in cubing and practice whenever I can (even under the table at school sometimes) and am glad to have found a place that's as (or more) interested in cubing than I am.
