I am very interested in blindsolving but i am having problems with the memorization phase. i use the letter pairing method as described by Chris Hardwick (i use the Stefann Pochmann method) example :Yellow Green - YG - YGnite (hope u get the idea) please help me by giving me more ideas for this.

Also, i need help for corners (i currently use the numbering scheme but it is abit hard memorizing them).

I'm sry if my introduction sound boring but i did what pjk said to do. please help me with BLD thank you so much

Hi zaker,

For memorizing numbers I suggest the Major system. I learned the system from J. Bernett Orlando. I can't seem to access his site right now, but here is a link describing the method.

For letter pairs, I found that it helped me personally to have a prepared image for each pair. You can also use single syllable words, which I have found to work very well for 3x3x3 corners and edges. Coming up with the words on the fly is still fast, and has been proven to be fast by a number of world class blindsolvers. So, really it is your preference as to whether you want a prepared list or one that you create on the fly.

I hope this information helps you a bit, and welcome to the forums!

Chris
