[Member Intro] Hello from Washington State!

[RedJack22]

Hi All!

I just want to introduce myself! My name is Jack, and I hope I can make some friends out of everybody here! Just curious, is there anybody here from the Pacific Northwest (Washington or Oregon)? Thanks guys!

[Tabe]

Spokane right here!

[RedJack22]

Sweet!

[Tabe]

Where are you?

[RedJack22]

I'm about 40 miles north of Portland. Too bad we aren't closer Do you go to any comps around the Portland area? I've never been to one personally, but I'd like to!

Hello! I'm a PNW cuber as well. Are any of you going to Atomic Cubing Fall 2017?

I'm not, only because I don't anyone to drive me there. Hopefully I can go to a competition soon!

This one might be a more manageable drive for you: https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/competitions/PDXCubingforCauses2018

I've only been to one comp so far, one here in Spokane in August. Am going to one in Richland, WA in 2 weeks though.

Hey, thanks so much Kit! I appreciate it!

Do you know of any other Portland-ish comps planned that aren't on the WCA page?

I know that there's some people at Oregon State who are hoping to have an event in February, but that's all I'm aware of. There's a bunch in the Seattle area announced as well, I don't think there are any others that are being planned as of yet.
