Hi everyone!
I'm carmo, from Sydney, Australia. I was first introduced to the Rubik's cube when a cubing craze swept through my high school 4-5 years ago, and was taught the beginner's method by a friend. I continued for most of a year, learning F2L and some of the OLL/PLL, averaging somewhere in the 30s.
About a week ago, I decided to pick up my cube again and see how much I could remember... which wasn't much past F2L hehe. So after a quick refresher, I continued playing around my cube, and relearning the OLL/PLL algorithms. I've got almost all the PLLs down (nothing much else to do in my uni holidays) and am currently averaging mid-30s. My goal is sub-30 before university starts
I've only got the store-bought Rubik's cube at the moment, but I'm super excited for a couple of speed cubes coming my way soon, including a 4x4. I'm hoping to expand into 5x5 and some of the other twisty puzzles in the near future too.
Outside of cubing, I practise taekwondo, play piano, and enjoy reading.
That's about it from me. Give me a shout if you're also from Down Under (especially Sydney!), or anywhere else
