Hi Guys!
It's Dawid here, I'm 30 years old, couple moths ago figured that cube might be a good thing helping me on my quitting smoking. As I've been playing with it in past - many many years ago (like 10-12 years). As you can imagine I've forgotten everything, and I've been only solving 3x3 using 7 steps beginners method supporting myself with this little pan flip through the solves. After short while I've lost my interest in that and simply give it up!
Until couple moths when I've spotted 'new' stickerless Rubik's brand in one of the markets. My first solve was like fooooorever! Lol, but then I've searched on youtube current world record - watched video and it got me big time! Since then I've been practicing and now got down to 45 sek average - which is pretty good for couple of months, and having work and family on the side of it.
At the moment solving everything from 2x2 - 5x5, but only 3x3 I'd consider myself as a intermediate speed solver.

So that's my story guys, if there is someone from around London just let me know it's always nice to meet someone shearing same passion!

Welcome to the forum! I don't live near London, I'm in the south west but I know that plenty of other people do. There is also a competition in London next month, although the competitor list is full at the moment.

Also 45 seconds of quite good for a few months practice, keep at it and I'm sure you'll keep getting better :)

Thanks guys for nice welcome ;-) will check those comps later, and if time allows defo will get on one of those as I've never been to one yet.

So far I'm stock with OLL and PLL algs, hoping to be on top of it within next 2 months or so.
