Hi, I just made my account as you can see! I average about 25 seconds and I am currently working on being color neutral. My hobbies are: cubing (obviously), photography, and programming. Just a quick questing, do any of you have tips for 5x5? I'm not that good yet. Thanks!

5x5 is sheer practice. Once you can solve it, its just solving over and over to get faster, because as you practice you'll pick up on small tricks here and there that aren't really teachable. If you want you can learn Hoya/Yau5, but thats up to you.
More importantly, welcome! If you need help about, well, anything, slide into my pms ;)
Good luck in your cubing endeavors

Welcome to the forums!! Any question that you feel obligated to ask, ask away! We have world class speedcubers on this website that will gladly take time to help you out!

Just practice. Do lots of solves-timed or untimed. The more familiar you get with the cube, the faster you will get. I went from 30-20 sec in about 2 months and I did not learn anything new other than a new F Perm alg that was just easier to finger trick. For 5x5, same thing. I went from about 7 min to 3 in just 2 weeks and that came through getting more familiar with the cube, getting faster tps, and practice, practice, practice! The only way you can get faster at solving is to do solves. Good luck on your journey!

Welcome!

Practise is the key for getting better at 5x5.

I've been using hoya for 4x4 and 5x5 and it's worked for me since.
Just keep doing tons of solves.
