Hello everyone.
I have just joined and I would like to say a bit about myself. I am 11 years old and my average for the 3x3x3 is around 25 seconds. My best is 16.41 seconds and I use F2L, 2-Look OLL and 2-Look PLL. I normally use a DaYan GuHong Stickerless and I was wondering when I should learn full OLL and PLL.

I have never been to a cubing competition before.

Any cube is allowed to be used in a competition, as long as it isn't a cube that is completely stickerless or a cube that is transparent.

So yeah, MF8 legend is allowed.

I think the mf8 is decent but there are many better cubes. You should get a Dayan cube but I would recommend the zhanchi.
