having trouble reversing move sequences for roux step 3

I'm starting to learn the full step 3 roux method (i've only been using niklas and sune for step3) but I'm having trouble reversing the sequences for step3.

For example, case E1 is R2F'UFU'F'U'F2RF'R and F1 is (E1)'. I've tried doing exact opposite, reversing the direction of all moves, reversing direction of some moves and still it doesnt work. Whats the trick here?

Try again, you did something wrong.
Perhaps try to write it down in reverse first.

I now tried writing it down with various methods, but it would really help alot if someone just plain ol' told me how to convert. Then I'll know what I'm doing wrong.

Is it R'=R, is it RUF=FUR, RUF=F'U'R'?

So far I haven't managed to make anyone of them work. I have a hard time with this notation moveing thing, I much preferred petrus's java scripts Any help much appreciated.
