Happy Easter everyone! He is risen! Jesus took the weight of all sin and died the most painful death on a cross. He was our only hope, but now it was seemingly gone. But God wasn’t finished. Jesus died (and was truly dead) but on the third day, the stone was rolled away and the tomb was empty. Jesus was alive! He eternally defeated sin and death because sin and death themselves could not hold him down. And now, if we believe in His Gospel, we too can live forever with Him in glory. We celebrate Easter to commemorate what Jesus has done for us and His victory over death. He is Risen! (reply with He is risen indeed if you want)
