what if some people use google lens? Im not accusing people right now but what if?

tbh, what are we going to do about. whoever uses google lens ruins their own fun. it's so fun to just guess and actually get it right. plus, if someone used google lens on a 3x3, that wouldn't actually have an advantage.

Is google lens smart enough to actually decipher what model a certain cube is or does it just say "This a Roubx Cub" and call it a day?

i will confess, while i haven't been using google lens, i was using the internet for a lot of my guesses. i've come to realize that this goes against the spirit of the game, and i apologize. i will no longer participate in guessing.

Spoiler: my "technique"

example 1: twisty tree
i knew that this was something oskar made, and since it resembled a tree, i looked up "oskarpuzzle tree" on youtube to pinpoint the exact name.

example 2: diansheng ufo
earlier in the thread, a picture of a diansheng ufo was posted. i thought it was an old diansheng 3x3 shapemod, so i searched "diansheng 3x3" (or something similar) on thecubicle, and scrolled until i found a match.

hey, that's okay. I mean you didn't use ai or anything and you self-punched in keywords and everything. I honestly think what you did is fine. Youre good man. keep guessing. I only consider it cheating if the person just uses google lens, doesn't even type anything, and lets a computer do the work for them. ggs
