greetings from the mediterranean sea!!

well...hello everyone...as you can tell i am new here(at least with an account)

also i am new to cubing(since christmass)

i average around 1 minute,with a single pb of 53 seconds...

i use the fridrich method(intuitive f2l but i have figured and wrote down some algorithms for certain cases,2 look OLL though i have figured out the t oll for example,and i am aware of like 15 or so plls)

my times frustrate me,because i hear people solving it within like 40 seconds with the dan brown method...whitch i learnthow to solve the 3x3 from...

because of that...i am solving green cross,and i am doing bld green D white F

i have figured out the 2x2 by myself,but with the knowledge of the 3x3 as my assistant...i have also figured out the 4x4 except for parity


enough with bragging,i am 19,i am a musician and singer,i am a filmer,director and editor(i do skateboarding stuff,but also short movies)

i enjoy cubing and that's about it!!

p.s. two little sidenotes....1st:t perm works for me like a cigarrette...i have to do something with my hands..t perm will always be there for me...

oh...i also smoke....a lot....but don't do alcohol neither drugs,at least not anymore,so that's something...

Welcome. You're in the Mediterranean Sea? I hope you can swim and cube at the same time. XP You're better than be and only in 2 months. I've been cubing for like a year and 8 or 9 months and I'm just barely Sub-2:00, and I almost know intuitive F2L, and I still need to memorize 2LOLL and 2LPLL.

Try not to feel too mad, but my little brother uses Dan Brown as well and averages 27 - 30 seconds...

I only average like 35 with intuitive F2L, 15 PLLs and 12 OLLs... >_>

But hey, you'll get better amongst people here, especially since we're all here to help!!

Welcome! its pretty cool that youve only been cubing for 2 months, yet you know a good part of the plls and 2 look oll, and you also know bld. it took me a long time before i started 2 look oll and pll and i still havent learned blind. your times will drop with practice. it takes a couple months but youll be sub-30 in a little while.

that last part was really cheering up

i noticed my lookahead improved in like 20 minutes after i did my first solve with cross on D...

i didn't get into cubing for the speed of it,but to understand the cube itself and in general i am interested in cubical things,symmetry,and dimensions(thus the name)

but being able to do this fast,is very tempting,plus i want to keep up with me fellow cubers here

i fully understand stefan's old method,and i have done the cube with just perms several times with eyes open,i actually think it is really fun to do that,but i don't think i will be able to solve an entire cube blindfolded sooner than 1 or 2 months...
