Greetings from Sweden!

Grattis!! Bra jobbat!

Hehe tack så mycket!

Have gotten a few other 1:4x since yesterday and I think it's due to me learning more and more OLLs. The quicker I get to PLL(where I just keep rotating) the more likely I am to get under 2min each time. Unfortunately the diff is often more then 20sec per 10solves... I'll keep at it, now it's getting more and more fun!

I would suggest improving your F2L first before learning all the algs. I still only know 2look PLL/OLL and my averages have dropped alot since i first started 6weeks ago

Thank you for your input. But, with "all the algs." do you mean every OLL/PPL? Because right now I only know a few and also use 2look. But you are right, the most time used in my solves often is the F2L. How did you personally improve on that specific area?

I improved by solving it alot.. Like every time I had to wait on a bus/train , whilst on the bus/train , inbetween classes. also when surfing the web or watching YT vids I would solve it , or just do alot of Tpermutations in a row to get a good feel for the cube. However there are certain routines you can do to train F2L and you can look for a video on that topic on BadMephisto 's youtube channel.

I only know 2look OLL/PLL aswell (and Tperm + 2 Jperms ^^)

Yea I think we practice the same. I also use "dead-time" to practice but I do full solves only and do not specifically focus on F2L (which I maybe need to focus on). I did watch his YT videos but on the other-hand I did it before I even could solve it, so maybe it would help if I watched that stuff again. Thanks for the help.

Finally I got under the minute. Might not be a big deal but I got kind of stuck at between 1-2min. But after calming down and trying to not rush myself all my timed solves got a little better and one had the corners solved which landed me under that minute. Yay! Soon I'm gonna enter the Race for sub30 :D

Join the sub30 race anyway. You do not need to be sub minute to participate. Oh and.. congrats on you sub 1 solve! It is a big deal! ;)

Thanks, it felt like a big deal haha Can't imagine what sub30 (first single then avg.) will feel like :D
ps. I entered the "Race" now :P (and immediately got nervous and messed up lol)

So I just did a 12session today, happy to see that sub1min wasnt a fluke and I could hit it again(ofc some luck involved). But unfortunately I mess up the F2L again and again and have to do 5+ pairs more often then not and the cross need some serious work (10-18+ sec). But what bothers me is that I have such a big variation. I can go from solving around 1min to 2min in like 3 attempts. Does this get better when I learn more and more OLLs/PLLs? I have been slacking on these algs since I feel this isnt where I spend most my time. OLL is pretty OK (learning maybe not execution of em all) and PLL I just rotate edges, rotate corners until solved. The time consumer is my messups in F2L and the fact I cant "look ahead" what so ever yet lol

But wasn't that long ago I was steady 2min so it's getting somewhere at least :) Any tips are appreciated! (Im trying to get an example vid of one of my solves but the camera is so bad you are not gonna be able to see what Im doing, it's like 5fps :/
