Greetings and introduction

@Mark49152 - thanks, I consider myself an alg connoisseur! Took me a long time to find algs I'm happy with, and the G's are the next that need work. I think they're OK - I can prob sub-2 them, but I'd love to see yours if you want to post them here!
Here's the complete set. They are known as the French G-perms and I got them from Sebastien Felix's page here. Dodgy execution tips are mine.

Ga: D' R2 U R' U R' U' R U' R2 [D U'] R' U R
Start with left ring push for D', then start R2 with right index on FRD; do both R's with no regrip back to the same position, using right ring pull for second U; do DU’ as one move. Flows well, no regrips.

Gb: D R' U' R [U D'] R2 U R' U R U' R U' R2'
Do UD’ as one move with left index/ring push, during which regrip right index to FRD; after that, second U is a right ring pull.

Gc: D R2' U' R U' R U R' U R2 [D' U] R U' R'
Start the R2' with thumb on top, pulling the D with left during the regrip; push the second U with left index while doing right hand regrip to put right index on FRD ready for the R2; flows nicely from there, doing D’U as one move. Only 14 moves if you count the D'U as one.

Gd: D' R U R' [U' D] R2 U' R U' R' U R' U R2
Start with left ring push, then do U’D as one move with left while regripping right index to FRD; final U is a right ring/little pull.

Thanks - don't know the G's by letter, I only know them by the 2x1x1 block position, but will definitely be giving these a try tomorrow. G's are my only PLLs that still have a regrip (by which I mean true regrip - i.e. achieving nothing for 1/2 second on the cube, unlike the regrips in your tricked algs above, where the left hand is working while right regrips).

Will have a play and post back my findings.

Wow, I like these much better, they feel pretty smooth. It took me awhile to follow your executions but after a little practice I can see why you like these. Thanks!

Let's start with R(a) - Badmephisto's algs are a choice of L turns and B turns, neither of which I could do fast. I tried all the algs on the wiki, and chose: R U2 R D R' U R D' R' U' R' U R U R' U. It has a really nice flow to it, and doesn't require any regrips or hands leaving the cube. I don't know anyone else who uses this, but could probably make a vid if you can't find one elsewhere?

How are you executing this? Start thumb on D for the first R, left ring finger push for the D', left pointer for the U's?

Yeah, thumb on D, left ring push D (left ring stays there to pull back for D'). All the U turns are RH, the U' is LH. The R' after leaves RH thumb on D (starting position), then R middle finger slides U and R ring lands on RB to do the R. Standard U turn, then R' and R ring slides the final U.

Something like this. Sorry about video quality and my crappy execution, On a good day I can sub-1.5 this, I'm sure a better cuber could easily sub-1 it.

LOL, just watched this - check out my total lack of video editing!

Yeah, think I've seen those, he does funky F and B turns that I struggle with tho. Our at least did a few months ago when I first learnt PLL. May be worth revisiting!
