My wife has very dry skin and cannot do any finger tricks without the cube flying from her hands. The standard vinyl doesn't work and lexan tiles (textured) are just as bad. We're thinking of cutting some squares out of the grip tape used for tennis rackets, but can't find six different colors. Does anyone here have this same problem, or better yet a solution?

She'll need to practice controlling the muscles in her fingers. It's a pain to have to do but after a few weeks of using a really slippery cube you get used to it.

A lot of the time I just flick the face with an index finger and don't bother slowing down the face or stopping it before I execute the next move. But with a slippery surface you need to be precise with your finger tricks and not execute the next movement until the previous one is stationary. You'll end up dropping the cube if you go from one move to another without having it in a good grip after the first move.

Tim.
