Getting faster?

Hello im new here on speedsolving forum but i already have a question!

I have a Rubiks storebought cube which i modified faster.
Yea really modified not like only lubing and things.
But back to the subject so i got a Rubiks storebought cube and im average sub-30
I know like 1/4 of all OLL so when i dont know i use 2-look
And know half of the PLL`s.

So if i get a Dayan Guhong and learn more algs can i get sub 20`s?
And without the algs?

I actually averaged slightly under 30 seconds with my heavily modded Rubik's 3x3. After I got my DAYAN GUHONG, I averaged about 28 seconds. However, I kept on improving so quickly after that, that I got a sub-20 average of 5 2 months after that. I think it helped me improve over the long term than the short term. I hope this helps!

I think you can get sub-20 in 1.5 months, but try to learn full PLL.

Learn full PLL
[Learn intuitve F2L if you don't know it here]
then get a better cube
then learn the rest of the OLLs
then PRACTICE!

I just hate the E perm V Perm F perm N Perm and G perms just the ones i dont know for G perm i use 2 look PLL

There are over 2300 official averages that are sub-20, but it is probably not possible for you to be sub-20, especially if you use what many consider to be the best available cube. Good thing you asked.
