Hi,

I waited 'til I got average 40 to think about starting practicing F2L. I always did cross + corners + second edges. It took 2 weeks to get it good.

At first, it got my time very high (average 55). I did not want to learn algs, I wanted it to be intuitive. After a LOT a practice I'm about to be sub30.
My PB went down from 27.xx(lucky) to 24.83 (non-lucky). I do a lot of sub30.

This is just to motivate people. If you are persistent and accept to higher your average a lot for a time, it'll be very rewarding!

Since, I'm getting very good. I'm getting a new PB almost each day. (I got 2 today).

Continue to cube, mates!

Hey man, im almost the same as you right now, but not as fast hehe, im sub 40 right now, well maybe sometimes it took me more that 40 but few times, but i already know intuitive F2L i just have to practice to look ahead when inserting the cornes, but i wanted to ask you, do you know 2 look OLL and 2 look PLL or do you know already all OLL or all PLL, because i really want to be sub 30 before i start to learn all PLL and all OLL, right now im just practicing the F2L a lot hehe

same story for everyone, me included, when I first taught myself f2l it took me weeks before i started improving my times. All i can say is, don't hesitate to learn some algs, some of the cases you solve intuitively may seem fast/optimal but a lot of times you will find algs are better/faster. There are many ways to build f2l pairs, try as many as you can before you stick to one solution for a particular case. Have you learned PLL yet? If not, it's the next logical step unless you don't already know 4 look LL.

I know more than 2look OLL (I know like 6 case more than the 2Look).
I know full PLL. (I started learning it very soon, when I got sub1).

I started looking for some algs, because there are situations where I can do it, but I know there is a faster way. I've just started learning algs, but I thought it was a better idea to start by learning by myself. I know I did the right thing because when I was looking a F2L videos before learning it, I was lost. Now, I understand everything and I learn 10 times faster.

F2L comprehension is very important, IMO, for look ahead and solves in general.
