Have you got anything against paper stickers? I'm using colored paper with glue on top of them, lol. Might not look the best but they do last, lol.

lot's of people (including me) have hand made these using dice as the cubies, and neo dymium (sp?) magnets. They're pretty good fun, have a look around for them
