I decided to sell some cubes and stickers etc. that I don't need anymore.

It's called the "put a meffert's/qj core in it" mod.

For a Mini QJ?

Yes. They are the same size core.

If it's a retooled Rubik's core, then it won't work. But if it was the older version of Rubik's, then it would work, as the Mini QJ is designed like the older Rubik's 4x4x4.
