Hey guys!

This is going to be the first "CubingBattle"

But, it is not between people (It kinda is)

It is between cubes

Now for a while, we have had many new speedcubes come out.

Moyu's Huanying and Weilong, which really go towards two different kinds of cubers (Speed or control)

The Legendary Dayan (We all know about them xD)

And the Funs Puzzles.

Shengshou has some pretty good speedcubes.

And, finally, the new and highly anticipated Maru CX3 3x3! (I will DEFINITELY be getting a couple of these black, white, stickerless, gitd, transparent, I would be having a cubegasm)

Now its time for your participation!!!

I am setting up an email with the webhost (soon to be [email protected]

How to participate:

Record a video, with the timer and the cube showing. (Kind of like CBC's race videos)

The submissions will end after I receive at least 12 of each cube. (So you can wait a while for the CX3)

In the description, post one of the following tags

#Zhanchi
#Zhanchi55
#Guhong
#Panshi

#ShuangRenI
#ShuangRen54
#ShuangRenII

#Aurora

#GansIII

#Weilong
#Huanying

#CX3

OPTIONAL :

#F2
#Rubiks
#V-Cubes

The above three will not require 12 submissions.

If there are more submissions for each cube, the fastest 12 will be chosen

The average of 12 will be calculated and be the final result of that cube.

Now if there is a huge gap in times, (Such as for example, me and a couple of other 22-23 second cubers on one cube vs feliks mats and sebastian) there might be an added stipulation. Quote this line and say what you think about it.

Email opens at 12AM CST. Good luck and have fun!!

QUESTIONS

So 2H solves, 1 solve per video, timer and cube have to be shown (solver's face doesn't need to be shown)? Can you submit like 1 single for as many puzzles as you have from the list?

time gaps don't really matter that much

You can do an average of five if you wish, but fastest time will be taken.

You can submit as many puzzles as you wish, but fastest puzzle will be taken (Or, you can specify which puzzle you want to use)

How many solves should we do in the video?

As many as you want! But the fastest time will be chosen

You should include other cubes, such as ShengShou Aurora and Gans III.
This is kind of a cool idea. Your title is spelled wrong though.

Added Gans III and Shengshou!

Lol, thanks xD

Can I use the same video That I used for CBC?

No. That has different "rules"

What exactly is the point of this? How will the time of the solve determine whether the cube is good or not? Let's say I do a solve on a Weilong and I get 11 seconds, and then a sub-10 cuber gets an 11 on a Rubik's brand, well that doesn't make the storebought any better than the Weilong does it? This idea is stupid.

There is a possibility to get a Sub-10 on a rubiks brand, but that has never happened (From what I saw)

Wait. I saw someone do that with Rubiks 2.0

Anyway, it is the average of the fastest times.

I would like to see Feliks, Mats, 5BLD, etc. post their fastest solve on a Rubik's brand. Then some slower solvers post fastest times on a Weilong. See if Rubik's brand can be considered "Best Cube". That would be pretty funny.

They can try my Epic Rubik's brand it feels like a V-cube 3x3 or a Guhong.
