I am having difficulty with the clockwise A permutation algorithm. PLL algorithm #1 from cubewhiz.com
(l' U R') D2 (R U' R') D2 R2
The D2 fingertrick is causing me a ton of grief. I am using my left hand for the trigger. I have watched both the slow and fast video demonstrations on cubewhiz, and I appear to be doing it correctly. My problem is that I tend to lose control of the cube while doing the trigger. I frequently either start to drop the cube, or it becomes unstable in my hands and I make an unintentional move. I have performed this algorithm probably 300 times during the last couple of days, mostly at a slow speed in an attempt to feel comfortable with the moves... but I still do not feel like I am "in control" of the cube even when going at a slow pace.
Any suggestions? Is it perhaps something to do with grip, or is this just one of those things that feels awkward even when performed correctly?
