Right now as a sub25 cuber, I am focusing on F2L improvement and algorithm optimization. Both include the heavy integration of fingertricks somewhat.

I already have a basic concept of triggers and shortcuts and the optimization of regrips and such....

but lately i've noticed that my turns are extremely inconsistent, i end up botching algorithms like Jperm. Sometimes i can sub2 it, but when i mess up i get times above 3sec.

How should i integrate/practice better turning? Im tired of regripping and redoing turns because of bad pushing...

Honestly, I think Look ahead is your problem and not finger tricks. I also thought it was my finger tricks when I was a sub 25 solver.

Yes yes i also know my F2L needs work (averaging 10-15sec)

But i have a 9sec LL....and that's what hits me in the face as "OMG THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE"

so your only focusing on LL???
If so then learn one of your algs with your type of finger tricks, then repet (sp?) it over an over again until its muscle mem the inititive (not intuitive). If I spelt it wrong it means (if you can't figure it out) see it and do it with out thinking. thats what most of my so far PLL's are. Why do I answer when I only got a sub 30 avg. yesterday??? because My LL execution is VERY fast IMO.

What are your Last Layer steps? If you do 2 Look OLL, and PLL, sub 7 second average on the last layer would be reasonable. Are you sure it's your finger speed? Have you video taped your self, and compare it with other faster people? Maybe it could be your recognition time? Some people recognize OLLs and PLLs in like half a second. Maybe you could work on that. Or maybe you could do PLL time attacks, or use the PLL trainer from Badmephisto, (or any other last layer trainer), and try to get all your PLLs below 3 seconds? I think anyone can do it, they don't need fast fingers - they just need to work hard on practicing. Also, maybe if you do 2 Look Last Layer, you can do edge control on the last F2L pair so you don't end up with no edges oriented on the last layer? I don't know the real answer, as I don't know too much about your problem. But I hope what I said helps you....
