i started fingerboarding back in 2014, and i still do it semi daily

There was a very weird period where someone posted a thread called 'is fingerboarding gay' Thread 'do you think fingerboarding is gay?' https://www.speedsolving.com/threads/do-you-think-fingerboarding-is-gay.16702/ this turned into a debate about his use of the word 'gay' and didnt answer what he meant by the word gay, which was stupid (which i'm not condoning) and so another thread was made in 2010 Thread 'Fingerboarding Thread.. Again.' https://www.speedsolving.com/threads/fingerboarding-thread-again.23940/ and funnily enough the question of is it stupid was still never answered

i saw those strings of threads, im just curious if anyone still really does it here

I used to be into it. It's always on my desk I have about 5 of them and I loved customizing the decks and making cool grip tapes. I also loved building miniature skate Parks. I would use old pieces of ply wood to carve into quarter pipes and table tops and I used thin metal rods as coping. just a really cool fidget toy, and I love freestyle scootering so it sort of compliments my irl hobby.

I thought about it but never did it except a couple of times in my life. I’ve never been interested in actual skateboarding either so there’s that. Never really wanted to hurt myself in sports lol.

yeah, real skateboarding seems kinda dangerous. You also can't break which stinks cuz I like to gooooo faasstt

im the opposite, love to speed around on my board or throw pitches
not so involved in Baseball anymore
funny story, the reason i started solving cubes was from my pinkie being broken, and i was unable to play
