FII and Lan Lan 2x2

So finnaly steppin up from a store bought and gettin me a FII and while i was at it i got me a 2x2. Im pretty damn stoked. But should there be anything i should half to do to the cubes besides lube? like sanding or anything. And what do you guys recomend for 2x2 methods... thanks gangsters

Don't sand ANYTHING, it will most likely ruin your cube if you do so. If you're itching to mod it for no apparent reason, 4Chan modded his, and has pictures on his tumblr. You basically cut stuff here and there, and get a new core, though you don't really need it.
