Hi,
Firstly, I want to apologize for my English
I want to learn solving cube with fewest moves. I started with commutators, I can solve nearly all cycles. Here goes big thanks to Joel for his site. Then I started to study fmc archive on Dan's site. Unfortunately I recognized only two techniques. Some Petrus style block start, with 'one-look' LL and solving with some mystery moves and inserting cycles, which restores some cubies.
I'm solving with smt like that :
1st 2x2x2 block
2nd 2x2x2 block - diagonaly
I'm trying to cycle corners to get situation where I can do 2 3-move f2l algs and have permuted corners in LL
two-generator last layer alg which solves edge perm and corner orientation
Mostly, i have all edges oriented on second step, but sometimes I must do an alg from zbll.
My average moves count is about 40.
And there is my 'question' - how to be better. What techniques should I learn, what I do wrong? And aditional 'request' - How do you solve cube on fewest moves?
