Famous Cubers' Mains?

Probably out of date. Mats used a Weilong at worlds.

Weilong FTW. The stock stickers would help him, 'cause he's colorblind.

Haha, since that seminar, Mats used his Weilong in the final, and I got my pb avg 100 with the Weilong (7.21, not quite Alexspeed yet). Currently, I switch between my Weilong and my Zhanchi.

So you do use Weilong some? I have popping problems with my Zhanchi which is why I switched.

Haha so he switched his main in the middle of the tournament. That's funny.

Going back and forth is what I've been doing too. It seems like even thought they have very different feels my times are no different. Grats new PB btw.

I actually switch between my old stickerless Guhong v1, and my weilong. The Guhong helps me with turning accuracy, and it's stickerless.

No, the colors are more distinct.

Yeah, on half brights. If anything the stock stickers are worse for him.
And btw really it you had popping issues with a zhanchi, you needed to fix your turning and tighten it a good bit. I used it for averages of 1,000 and it never popped.

I thought Alex was still rocking his poptastic GuHong V1. He was in March but that might've changed by now.

I want to know Erik Johnson's. And Lars Petrus's... even though they aren't at the top, they are the pioneers of Petrus.
Generally, people who use CFOP want cubes with fast turning and good corner cutting, not necessarily smooth or nice to turn, because they want high TPS. I use many methods and study as much as I can, but I am a Petrus guy.
And why do people like Moyu cubes? I haven't heard anything particularly fancy about them that other cubes can't do.

I think pretty much any speedcuber wants fast turning and good corners cutting.

Moyu cubes are generally fast and stuff. Therefore, they are popular.

Yes many cubes are fast, they are also popular. It's all a matter of preference.

I prefer the Weilong because to me, it seems to have a higher tolerance for corner cutting than Dayan cubes. I think less force is needed to cut corners on a Weilong than a Guhong or Zhanchi. I think the Weilong tends to lock up less than the Dayan cubes when attempting to cut corners. It's kinda hard to describe but hopefully some of you will understand what I mean...

I have one. I agree. I've been trying to figure out how to say exactly that.
