I took apart my F-II today and realized there is some strange black liquid around 1 of my screws. I have no clue what this is, the only lubricant I put in my cube was silicone spray. I want to know what this black stuff is because it allows for that face to spin incredibly well. Any clue as to what it is? The only thing i can think of is: my F-II came pre-lubed so I'm thinking it is that, by why is it only around 1 screw? Thanks in advance.

Yeah I had a LOT of gunk all around my core and screws when I cleaned my white FII the other day. Because of the color contrast the gunk was extremely noticeable. My cube was starting to get slow and had that overlubed feeling, after I cleaned it all out it's back to top speed. It seems I'm getting an opposite experience with this "magical" gunk. haha.

Sorry for the bump, but what do you clean it with when this happens? My FII gets really dusty, and it's really noticeable on a white cube. I tried water, but the dust stays there.

my FIIs get tons of gunk, i use jig a loo. every weekend i take them apart to take the gunk out of the center pieces and srew/spring
