Error during attempted thread creation

About fifteen minutes ago, I tried to post a new thread in the "Non-Twisty Puzzles and Games Discussion" sub-forum. It gave me the following error.

The following errors occurred with your submission
You must select a thread prefix.

The only prefix option, other than "(no prefix)" was "[Member Intro]." Since "[Member Intro]" didn't apply, I left "(no prefix)" selected. Then, when I previewed the post, the error showed up.

Should I have done something different to post the thread? Or is it some other type of problem?

Incidentally I was planning on posting a thread there as well so I just tried. I got the same error, so I tried with the member intro prefix and it worked, but with the prefix
